Therapy for Postpartum Depression
We’re here to support you with an approach that blends structure, compassion, and real-life tools for change.

Postpartum depression is common, and you deserve support.
Parenthood is a transformative journey, and while it can bring immense joy, it may also come with challenges that feel overwhelming. If you’re struggling with feelings of sadness, anxiety, or disconnect after giving birth, know that you’re not alone. Postpartum depression is a common, treatable condition, and at CBT for Better Living, we’re here to help you navigate this period with support, expertise, and compassion. Our approach to therapy is structured yet adaptable, designed to empower you with tools and techniques that bring relief and guide you toward feeling like yourself again.
Structured, Collaborative Therapy That Respects Your Journey
At CBT for Better Living, we know that therapy should be an active and collaborative process. Our sessions are tailored to meet you where you are while helping you move toward specific, achievable goals. During each session, you’ll experience a hands-on approach that encourages real-time practice and understanding. We don’t rely on the “lay on the couch and talk” model; instead, we bring structure and focus to each meeting, creating a safe space for you to openly share and work through what you’re facing. Through personalized strategies, we work with you on in-session exercises and give you actionable steps to implement between sessions, so progress continues outside of the therapy room.
Expect sessions to include:
- Setting personalized, manageable goals tailored to your needs
- Practicing techniques to address anxiety, mood changes, and overwhelm
- Focusing on practical tools you can use daily to cope and regain confidence
Our approach combines evidence-based practices with genuine human warmth, creating a partnership that respects your unique experience. With CBT for Better Living, you’re not just a client; you’re a collaborator in the healing process.
Here are some of the concerns we’ll tackle together, so you can feel supported and equipped to manage each day with more ease.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is your availability?
We offer appointments Monday-Friday and currently on weekends, during morning, afternoon, and evening hours.
Do you accept insurance?
Our services are private pay and we are considered out-of-network providers. Many people with out-of-network coverage can receive full or partial reimbursement for the cost of sessions through their health insurance. The amount covered will depend on the insurance plan. After each session, we can provide you with a document, called a “superbill” that has all of the necessary information required to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
How do I know if I have out-of-network coverage and if so, how does it work?
You can call your insurance company to inquire about your specific coverage and reimbursement. Here are some helpful questions to ask:
-
Do I have out-of-network coverage?
-
If so, is there an annual deductible? Have I met it? If no, how much has been met?
-
What percentage do you cover for out-of-network mental health providers?
-
Is there a maximum amount you reimburse per visit or per year?
-
Is there a claim form that I must use to submit for reimbursement?
-
How much time do I have to submit a claim after my session?
-
Do I need a pre-authorization? If so, how do I obtain it?
