Overcome Postpartum Anxiety
Compassionate Support Tailored to Your Needs
Our therapy approach is designed to support you through the challenges of postpartum anxiety. We understand this time can feel isolating, but you don’t have to face it alone. In our sessions, we offer a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your feelings, develop practical coping strategies, and take positive steps toward finding peace and emotional balance.
Effective Treatment for Postpartum Anxiety
We specialize in evidence-based treatments like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). These approaches effectively address postpartum anxiety by helping individuals confront overwhelming fears, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and gradually face anxiety-triggering situations with confidence.
Accessible, Personalized Therapy
Your Partner in Postpartum Anxiety Support
At CBT For Better Living, we view therapy as a collaborative journey. Together, we’ll explore your unique postpartum challenges, such as constant worry about your baby’s health, hypervigilance, intrusive thoughts, and feelings of inadequacy
Your journey begins with a thorough assessment to understand how anxiety, guilt, and overwhelm are affecting your daily life. We’ll work on adjusting your expectations around parenting and self-care, gradually exposing you to activities that trigger anxiety, and helping you let go of unrealistic fears about your baby’s safety.
Throughout our sessions, we’ll set achievable goals to help you regain a sense of control, accept the natural anxiety that comes with new parenthood, and focus on the connection with your baby over the need for perfection.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is your availability?
We offer appointments Monday-Friday during morning, afternoon, and evening hours.
What are the fees?
Please reach out for more information on rates. Payment is due at the time of the appointment.
Do you accept insurance?
Our services are private pay and we are considered out-of-network providers. Many people with out-of-network coverage can receive full or partial reimbursement for the cost of sessions through their health insurance. The amount covered will depend on the insurance plan. After each session, we can provide you with a document, called a "superbill" that has all of the necessary information required to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
How do I know if I have out-of-network coverage and if so, how does it work?
You can call your insurance company to inquire about your specific coverage and reimbursement. Here are some helpful questions to ask:
-
Do I have out-of-network coverage?
-
If so, is there an annual deductible? Have I met it? If no, how much has been met?
-
What percentage do you cover for out-of-network mental health providers?
-
Is there a maximum amount you reimburse per visit or per year?
-
Is there a claim form that I must use to submit for reimbursement?
-
How much time do I have to submit a claim after my session?
-
Do I need a pre-authorization? If so, how do I obtain it?
